BKS Artisan Ales opened in late 2017 as the first craft brewery in Kansas City’s Brookside neighborhood. Containing the well-known abbreviation for the neighborhood, BKS, the brewery is located at 633 E. 63rd Street, on the corner of 63rd Street and Holmes Street. The location houses a production facility and tasting room that aims to provide quality and unique beers.

BKS Artisan Ales draws on traditional and experimental styles to produce hop-forward, barrel aged, sour and farmhouse ales. In addition to draft pours at the tasting room, canned and bottled beers are available, to-go, from the tasting room on a frequent basis.
